
Most members of Delaware Crossing Investor Group are accredited investors, as defined by Rule 501 of the SEC regulations. An accredited investor is a natural person whose individual net worth or joint net worth with that person’s spouse at the time of his purchase exceeds $1,000,000 OR a natural person who had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the two most recent years or joint income with that person’s spouse in excess of $300,000 in each of those years and has a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year.
Members of Delaware Crossing Investor Group who are not accredited investors must satisfy the SEC's definition of a "sophisticated investor." According to the SEC, a sophisticated investor has sufficient knowledge and experience in financial and business matters that they are capable of evaluating the risks and merits of the investment and are able to bear the economic risk of the investment.
